David Johnston
David Johnston is the Ohio County Judge Executive and a lifelong resident of Ohio County, currently serving in his 16th year in the role. A member of Hartford Christian Church, David is also an accomplished bluegrass musician who plays with two bands, including For His Glory. He brings a deep love for the community and its musical heritage to his role with the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee.
Jeremy Ruegg
Passionate servant of the Gospel and a Board Member at Large of the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee. Since stepping into the role of pastor at Beaver Dam Methodist Church in 2018, he has been a steady voice for faith and fellowship in the region.
Joey Bratcher
Gospel music has been a part of Joey Bratcher's life since childhood, and his passion for it has never wavered. A lifelong Ohio County resident and pastor of The Word Baptist Church in Beaver Dam, KY, Joey serves on the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee with one driving purpose; to keep gospel music alive in the county and to see lives transformed and souls saved through its power.
Sonja Davis
Sonja Davis is a lifelong Ohio County resident and a member of Living Faith Baptist Church in Hartford. Following a 32-year career in the printing business, she joined the office of the Ohio County Judge Executive as assistant in June 2025. Now in her first year on the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee, Sonja is eager to contribute to the event and the mission behind it. She has been married for 42 years and has a 27-year-old son.
Brent Howard
A lifelong resident of Ohio County, Brent Howard serves as Treasurer of the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee. As pastor of McHenry Baptist Church, he brings deep roots in the community and a heartfelt commitment to sharing the gospel through music.
Robert Bailey
Robert Bailey serves as Chairman of the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee. A devoted pastor and evangelist, Robert leads Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and the Kentucky Evangelistic Gospel Music Fellowship; bringing a lifelong passion for faith and gospel music to everything he does.
Beau Wright
Beau Wright is a lifelong Ohio County resident who has dedicated decades to serving his community. Now in his 4th year as Mayor of Hartford, Beau also brings 21 years of experience with the Ohio County Fiscal Court and around 10 years as Ohio Park Director to his role on the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee. At home, he is a devoted husband of 18 years and proud father of three daughters — ages 10, 13, and 16.
Sandy Goff
Sandy Goff is a founding member and Secretary of the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee and a 39-year resident of Ohio County. She has been a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 30 years and has served in the past as both secretary and Sunday school teacher. Sandy has a total of 12 years with First Kentucky Bank and is married with two children and a grandchild. She remains deeply committed to the mission of Gospel Fest and the impact it has on the Ohio County community.
Josh Wright
Josh Wright serves as Vice Chairman of the Gospel Fest in the Park Inc. Committee, bringing a unique blend of media influence and ministry to the team. As owner and operator of WXMZ 99.9 and pastor of Smallhouse Missionary Baptist Church, Josh has a deep passion for connecting people through faith. In his own words, he believes Gospel Fest in the Park can be a great annual event that brings people together to worship at one of Ohio County's finest venues.
